Blu-Sky Ideas was founded by Ian Finlay, a CIO with over 20 years experience in a number of industry sectors including cloud, hosting, telecomms, manufacturing, outsourced call centres and software development. Having provided informal advice to colleagues, business partners and local charitable organisations he realised that many software vendors, consultants and well-meaning advisors did not give the impartial, balanced advice experienced business people outside of the IT word needed.
Blu-Sky Ideas provides this advice and related support services using Ian and a number of other experienced associates. Because many of the services are designed to be delivered remotely via the internet, email or telephone, the cost can be kept low and the choice of associates is widened.
